MeltDose® Patent Protected
The basic patents for MeltDose® do not expire until 2022 and have been issued in the US and EU. In addition, more than 100 patent applications have been filed which are related directly or based upon use of MeltDose® technology. Each new (specific) MeltDose® formulation could be patented allowing an efficient Life Cycle Management strategy for extending patent protection of the marketed product.
