Protection

The MeltDose® process is patented in several countries, including the U.S. (US Patent No. 7,217,431), until 2022. Fenoglide®, which is the first commercially available product based on MeltDose® process technology, is covered by US Patent No. 7,658,944 listed in FDA's Orange Book for the product. Also the late stage product candidate LCP-Tacro™ is based on the MeltDose® technology and patent protected by, e.g., European Patent No. 16632217. As such, the MeltDose® technology may provide an efficient tool for lifecycle management of marketed drug products.
